Work life at Breez
People Before Profit..... the Cooperative way
Working at Breez is not just a job, it’s a lifestyle. Our staff share the organisation’s altruistic goals of contributing to domestic and community stability through providing home ownership and building wealth for a wider range of Australians.
With comprehensive training, our staff feel confident to share their knowledge and experience with our customers, and are encouraged to be pro-active, approachable and understanding.
Supporting the communities in which we do business is important. We actively support our associates to become personally involved in the community by volunteering time for charities and much needed community aid.
Diversity
Our commitment to recruiting and retaining the very best talent extends to every part of the organisation.
We embrace and respect differences, which help us to provide a positive work environment for our staff.
Diversity is fundamental to our staff reaching their full potential, and our customers receiving absolute satisfaction.
Such values are embedded in our company vision, mission and values statements and fundamental to achieving our organisational goals.
Remuneration and benefits
We take a flexible approach to the salary packaging requirements of our staff and are happy to consider various salary packaging options and benefits, such as:
- Lifestyle leave
- Work leave
- Novated leases for motor vehicles
- Additional personal superannuation and spouse contributions
- Volunteer leave
- Extra study leave
We offer competitive salaries as well celebrate and reward the great achievements and outcomes accomplished by our associates. This approach helps us to attract and keep great people.
We support our local community
We provide financial support to “grassroots” local community groups that are often overlooked by organisations , such as The Compassionate Friends and USQ Artsworx, Springwood Football Club, Mt Gravatt Bowls Club. Often these organisations which are well recognised but poorly funded, are run soley by volunteers.
Staff Volunteer Program
We encourage our staff to become an integral part of the wider community by encouraging them to volunteer at their preferred charity or community events and provide time off to do so.
Flexibility
So that our staff can balance their work goals with their personal commitments, we offer flexible working hours and opportunities for job sharing and part time work.
A Risk Based Management Approach
|
We believe that our business is made up of the 1. Our Purchasers 2. Our People 3. Our Products 4. Our Policies |
|
To achieve our goals, all of these four sectors of the quadrant must be in sync, and must represent our organisational values. When each sector of the quadrant is working in sync, the desired outcome of SATISFACTION is achieved – satisfaction of our staff, and customers, regulatory bodies, and investors.
When satisfaction is achieved in any of these sectors, risk is reduced. But when satisfaction in all sectors is achieved, risk and reward are at its highest equilibrium: lowest risk - highest reward. In simple words, a satisfied customer does not complain. A satisfied team member does not leave. Good policies and procedures make for better products and services.
